NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Bellingham City Council
will hold a public hearing on November 9, 2020 at
7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible during their regular City
Council Meeting, which will be held remotely, to take public comment on the
following:
Proposed resolution of the Bellingham
City Council providing for the City to relinquish, pursuant to RCW 35.94.040, a
general utility easement retained in Ordinance 2019-052-11, recorded under AF
#: 2019-0801472, which is the easterly 25 foot portion of South State Street
abutting Lots 1-5, Block 4, plat of the Town of Bellingham and a 10 foot
portion of Easton Avenue abutting the aforementioned portion of South State
Street within The City of Bellingham, commonly known as 614 and 622 11th
Street, Bellingham, Washington, APNs: 370201
094423 0000 and 370201 091414 0000, on the grounds that said portion of
the easement is surplus to the City's needs and is not required for providing
continued public utility services.
